Description
Responsibilities of the position include
•Design, develop, and deliver technology training courses and workshops.
•Manage instructional design projects.
•Assist with development of web-based courses in the WebCT learning environment.
•Familiarize faculty with distance learning technology and procedures.
•Work closely with the instructional technology and distance learning staff.
•Research current effective instructional strategies and tools.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
•AA degree with a minimum of 2 years course development experience or Bachelor degree and strong technology experience.
•Hands on multimedia development and technology skills.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
•Strong written and oral communications skills.
•Strong organizational skills.
•Strong team skills.
•Project management skills.
Qualifications Preferred
•Bachelor's degree; masters preferred.
•Project management and supervisory experience.
•Experience and knowledge of instructional design, web design and development, digital imaging, and digital multimedia.
•Experience in educational setting.
•Higher education teaching experience.
•Online course development or teaching experience.
•Experience with online learning environments (experience with WebCT strongly preferred.)
•Familiarity with MS Office products, HTML editors, multimedia development tools, digital graphics, digital audio editors, or other production software.
•Experience in and a working knowledge of the use of educational media in the process of instruction.
